Hi guys May 19th , 2007 will be the first International Sidewalk Astronomy Night (ISAN). On this night it is planned to bring more than 1000 telescopes on road to show celestial objects to public, throughout the world.
John Dobson the one who designed the Dobsonian mount is the founder member of 'Sidewalk Astronomers' who is organising this event. Khagol Mandal is the Indian coordinator for this event.
Do come to Vangni (next station to Badlapur) on 19th May for Khagol Mandal's whole night sky observation program. Let's all celebrate ISAN.
